A walk to the church Agia Triada….

Today we have made a wonderful walk  to the small church Agia Triada made…. we have started the small old footpath to Anopolis, this begins about 100 metres after the local end of Chora Sfakion….. after a while then you reaches the gravel road…. if you follow this road you  reach possibly after half an hour the church….. the church is on 180 metres and you  have from there on top a miraculous view on Chora Sfakion as well as on the Libyan sea….  you also will meet on many goats quite surprised looking who you are….

Then on the way back we have run down whole the gravel road … after a while you are  direct above the Ilingas gulch…. before the last curve before Ilingas you reach  again the normal street which we have walked then again back to Chora Sfakion…. in the small Ikonastasie we have still lighted the “Kantili”… it is a small Ikonastasie in memory of our beloved doctor Maria who has had an accident there by the car….. passing the goat stable of my parents in law then we have reached after about 2 hours the village again….. a miraculous afternoon with fantastic weather!!!
